Food Applications

Certificates of food accordance are required for items which directly contact with food due to health regulations. Therefore mostly PE, PET, PP and PTFE materials are used. Bacteria presence is prevented when material selection of equipment is done carefully.

Polyethylene cutting boards are used for cutting food like meat, vegetables, fish etc. Moulds used for food like meatballs are mostly produced with PET materials.

Other than equipments which contact with food directly, metal materials of machines for food and beverage industries are replaced with engineering plastics due to advantages. On machine bodies gears and pulleys  made from cast polyamide, POM, polyamide materials are used and plexiglass is used as sight glasses. PE 1000 materials are preferred on conveyor lines.
